Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of Cookmory at cookmory.com. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you use Cookmory as a consumer, you retain all rights granted to you under applicable consumer-protection laws.

1. Service provider

Cookmory is provided by Artur Mukhamatkhaev, Rua das Amoras 174, 2775-549 Cascais, Portugal. Email: support@cookmory.com.

2. What Cookmory offers

Cookmory lets you save, organize and import recipes, plan meals, create shopping lists, collaborate in family spaces and generate PDF documents in your browser. Available features depend on your plan and may change over time. Current plan features and limits are described in the service.

3. Accounts and security

To use account-based features, you must provide a valid email address and keep your sign-in details secure. You must not access other people's accounts without permission. You can request assistance at support@cookmory.com and delete your account through the relevant settings.

4. Your recipes and other content

You or the relevant rights holders keep the rights to your content. When you save or share content through Cookmory, you grant only the permission needed to store, process and display it to provide the features you request. You must have the necessary rights or permissions to use and share the content you submit. Importing content from a third-party website does not give you ownership of that content.

5. Imports and shared links

Text recognition and automated imports can contain errors. Check ingredients, quantities, instructions and other information before relying on them. Anyone who has a valid public link may access the content shared through that link. Depending on the feature, links may stop working when revoked or when they expire. Avoid sharing personal or confidential information through public links.

6. Family spaces

The owner of a family space manages its membership and associated plan. Members can access selected shared features and content according to the family space settings. Each user remains responsible for the content and changes they contribute. Deleting an account may affect a family space; see the account-deletion page before proceeding.

7. Free and Pro plans

Cookmory offers Free and Pro. Free allows up to 50 saved recipes and one cover image per recipe, with a maximum stored image size of 250 KiB. Pro includes the paid features and limits described on the pricing page. PDF import is available on both plans; exporting a PDF cookbook requires Pro.

Pro is offered for monthly or yearly periods. Advertised prices are €3.99/month or €19.99/year; ₽399/month or ₽1,999/year; and $4.99/month or $24.99/year, depending on the applicable offer and currency. The yearly option is preselected; you may choose the monthly option instead. Before you complete a payment, you will be informed of the amount payable for your chosen period, including any applicable taxes or charges.

When you select Pro, provisional access starts immediately. A payment link is sent to your account email address within one hour. To retain Pro access, you must complete payment within 24 hours of selecting Pro. If payment is not confirmed within that period, the account returns to Free and its applicable limits.

Pro does not renew through automatic charges. Any further payment requires a separate payment action. To ask about continuing Pro after your chosen period, contact support@cookmory.com. We will confirm the available payment and access terms before you pay.

8. Withdrawal, refunds and statutory rights

If you purchase Pro as a consumer under a distance contract, you have any applicable statutory withdrawal right, which for service contracts generally includes 14 days from the date of contracting, subject to statutory exceptions. Starting access to a digital service does not, by itself, automatically waive that right. You can notify us of your decision to withdraw or request a refund at support@cookmory.com, identifying the account and the relevant payment. Applicable legal rules and exceptions apply, including rules concerning services already provided where relevant. This clause does not restrict your legal remedies for non-conforming or undelivered digital services.

Model withdrawal notice

If you want to exercise your right of withdrawal, you may email a message like the following to support@cookmory.com:

I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for access to Cookmory Pro. Account email address: [enter]. Contract or payment date: [enter, if known]. Date of this notice: [enter].

You may withdraw using any other clear statement; this form is optional.

9. Acceptable use

Do not attack the service, bypass technical limits, scrape data abusively, access other people's information without authorization, distribute unlawful or malicious content, infringe third-party rights, or interfere with the service's operation.

10. Availability and backups

We take steps to keep the service operating, but interruptions, maintenance and technical issues may occur. We recommend keeping an independent copy of important information. Nothing in this section limits Cookmory's legal obligations or consumers' mandatory rights.

11. Food, nutrition and health

Recipes and any nutritional information are for information purposes only. Check allergens, ingredients, quantities, food safety and imported content before preparing or eating a dish. Cookmory does not provide medical advice.

12. Restriction or termination of access

We may restrict access when needed to address abuse, security risks or legal requirements, subject to applicable user rights. You may stop using the service and delete your account following the published instructions.

13. Liability

Cookmory's liability is governed by applicable law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from inaccurate information entered or imported by users. This provision does not exclude or limit liabilities that cannot legally be excluded or consumers' rights concerning the proper supply of digital services.

14. Governing law and complaints

These Terms are governed by Portuguese law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections applicable in your country of residence. For complaints, email support@cookmory.com.

Where a dispute falls within its jurisdiction, you may contact the Centro de Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo de Lisboa (CACCL) at centroarbitragemlisboa.pt. Other consumer alternative dispute-resolution bodies can be found through Portugal's Direção-Geral do Consumidor. The Portuguese electronic complaints platform is available at livroreclamacoes.pt. These channels operate under their own legal and territorial requirements.
